The main changes for farmers are, in addition to the changes to the deadlines in the application administration, the inclusion of new measures and expenditures with regard to drought threats or a significant reduction of preferential criteria, including the modification of some criteria e.g., with regard to drought or protection of avian influenza and African swine fever.
A fundamental change in the support of agri-food processors is the widening of the range of recipients with bakery, confectionery and other flour products, which can now receive subsidies from the RDP for agricultural processing, final packaging, even in shops, including mobile ones also.
Applications are submitted, as always, through the Farmer’s Portal, and the list of recommended applications will be published within 14 days after the receipt of applications.
