IX. OPPIK Technology programme challenge – “Industry 4.0”


In December, a second call was announced in the OPPIK Technology programme with a focus on the automation and digitisation of production.

The grant under this call is intended for small and medium-sized companies (up to 250 employees and turnover of EUR 50 million) that plan to apply the so-called “Industry 4.0”, acquire technologies for process automation and will be able to demonstrate an increase in their digital transformation.

Subsidies may finance the purchase of production and non-production technologies, equipment and operational files, hardware and software, and local networks.

At least two-thirds of eligible expenditures must go to non-production technologies, including 3D measuring machines, robots and other handling devices equipped with bidirectional communications, servers, PC stations, printers, scanners, data distribution, shelving systems, conveyors, etc.

Businesses in one of the selected fields can apply for support: processing industry, waste management, construction, architectural and engineering activities, technical testing and analysis.

The scope of aid is up to 45% of eligible expenditure for small enterprises and 35% of eligible expenditure for medium-sized enterprises. The grant for the project is CZK 1 – 20 million and the total financial allocation of the call is CZK 700 million.

Applications will be available from 11 March to 13 June 2019.
