Prague, 15. June 2016: Moore Stephens supports the QR invoice standard, which was prepared by the Chamber of Tax Advisers of the Czech Republic. This standard allows the automatic upload of the selected accounting data by scanning the QR code given on the invoice.
The QR invoice can be combined with the QR payment – the invoice will contain one QR code for both the accounting and payment data. The QR invoice contains also substantial “header” data from the invoice necessary for processing the VAT control report. “I can say that at this moment we at Moore Stephens have, in collaboration with Tomáš Barhoň – TBW, prepared the technological solution, so that the processing of invoices received electronically in ISDOC or PDF format with the QR invoice would contain a minimal number of operations,” says Lenka Tarabová, adviser and specialist on the computerization of accounting.
“In order to support the efforts of the Chamber of Tax Advisers, we approached the vendors of accounting programs, we have received a feedback from more than 50 accounting programs, most of which are working on implementing QR invoice or plan to implement the QR invoice during the year 2016/2017,” adds Tarabová. Generally, electronic invoicing represents a substantial facilitation of work and streamlining of company processes. Thanks to the electronic invoicing, companies can handle much larger amount of documents in less time, reduce the possibility of errors and significantly reduce the costs of printing and postage. The installation of electronic invoicing is also technically not a big deal – most accounting programs already contain this feature built in!
