New challenges of the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness (OPPIK)
In November, the Ministry of Industry and Trade published an updated timetable of its operational programme calls. New calls for grant applications have been announced on the basis of this programme and others are planned by the end of the year.
Within the new calls, CZK 900m is allocated to projects in the field of electromobility, energy storage, secondary raw materials and biogas conversion to biomethane. Applications can be submitted until May 2019 or until September 2019 for biogas conversion projects. The grant can be claimed by companies of any size, including public companies.
- Technology for start-up entrepreneurs
Support for small businesses created between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2017 for the purchase of new machinery and technological facility equipment. Applications can be submitted from January to May 2019.
The programme supports the individual participation of small and medium-sized companies at foreign exhibitions and trade fairs. The subsidy is intended, among other things, for the transport of exhibits, stands and equipment to events held abroad or for promotional materials. Applications will be accepted continuously from March to May 2019, and the planned call allocation is CZK 200m.
- Challenge Technology – “Industry 4.0”
In turn, the second challenge of this focus with an allocation of CZK 700m will again be dedicated to the automation and digitisation of production processes in small and medium-sized enterprises. Applications can be submitted from March to May 2019.
